The definition of “neighbor” is from Leviticus 19:18: ”You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.“ Your “neighbor” is a fellow Israelite, not just anyone. The point is you don’t love ‘everyone’ but only those who are your people, follow the Torah, believe in what you believe etc. Even if by extrapolation it means ‘fellow Christian’ (which I’m not sure it does), it certainly isn’t consistent with the modern meaning of neighbour.

Sin no more

FALSE teaching. Baptism is not necessary for salvation. Nor is repentance of Sin. Repent is found over 100x in the Bible, but you cannot find any verse which tells you to repent of your sins for salvation. In repenting of your sins for salvation, you are taking the glory away from Christ and trusting in your good works to get you into Heaven. The word repent means to change your mind, not specifically to sin, but just to change one's mind (about who God is). Perfect example of this is in Jonah 3:10 "And God saw their WORKS, that they turned from their evil way; and God REPENTED of the evil which he said he would do unto them; and he did it not." a translation of the above passage is God saw their good works that they repented of sin/lived a faithful Christian life, and he did not do the evil he said he would do unto them. And in Matthew 7 21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Here in verse 22, MANY will stand before Christ, professing him as Lord and say look at all our works we have done in your name. Christ still sends these people to outer darkness because they "believed" in Christ, yet trusted in their good works as a part of salvation. And in verse 21 it says "he that DOETH the will of the Father". Well what is the will of the Father? This is clearly explained to us in John 6:40 And THIS is the WILL of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast. Again, no mention of water baptism; good works; turning from sin; etc... The Philippian jailor in Acts 16 29-31 asked Paul and Silas: 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Either Paul and Silas lied to him or the only thing necessary for salvation is to believe Christ took your hell punishment on the cross and nothing you can do can aid in your salvation. A serious question I like to ask every Christian I come in contact with is: If you were to stand before Christ and he askes you " Why should I let you into my Kingdom?" What would you tell him? Because the individuals in Matthew 7 21-23 said It was because of all their good works and turning from sin and living holy, which puts the object of their faith in themselves and not in the Savior.
